Imprisoned Eng Ssebamala Richard accuses Vice President Ssekandi of funding his arrest over fraud charges . Whisper Eye Reports

Bukoto County Central aspirant Eng Ssebamala Richard who was remanded to Luzira prison has accused Uganda Vice President Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi to be behind his arrest.

Eng Ssebamala Richard in his statement he released yesterday titled ‘Real Politics’ stated that his political rivals are playing political games.

The statement reads;

REAL POLITICS, a time when your rival was a happy about your pain especially if it’s his making.

Today I was remanded to prison on tramped up charges, this file was suspended by the state attorney Nakawa, but after eight months it was taken to the regional State who preferred to charge me on a Civil matter, but my brothers and sisters and especially friends, they can win the battle but not the war.

The truth to this matter is priceless, I purchased a motor vehicle from Kalungi Mohamed of Pine, Kampala at 280m.

I deposited some money but the balance didn’t come in time, I decided to secure the balance with a land title of my land in Lungujja Kitunzi valued at 350m.

When I got a buyer I decided to call him to pick his money but before this I visited TOYOTA UGANDA that diagonised the vehicle and discovered it was a model 2011 and a used one contrary to the purchase agreement as a brand new 2016.

I reported this to Pine management but the seller refused to appear.

Finally the D day came when the land was bought by someone and 350m deposited on my Stanbic account.

I called Kalungi for the tittle who claimed that since both the money and Car are in my possession he is going to spend a night in my compound after signing an agreement for sale for him of his vehicle and handing the vehicle back to him to meet the same day 9am at the bank. We finally entered Stanbic bank Acacia mall where we paid to him 240m.

After the payment he refused to hand over the vehicle, and claimed he had a balance, at this point I surrendered the vehicle to him with information that it had a mortgage balance of 36m with Goldmine finance to be cleared such that he can sell it and use it to get his money.

He handed over the land tittle and I too delivered it to the buyer’s lawyer.

On the fateful day the vehicle was impounded since Kalungi had not cleared goldmine.

He rushed to police and reported I sold him a vehicle that had a mortgage on it.

When my rival got to know he just thanked God for Christmas. My friends please stay strong we shall go thru it all ASAP, keep praying for me please as I do the same, he stated.

Eng Ssebamala Richard is one of the aspirants in Bukoto County Central, and is likely to contest on DP flag, and Counsel Magellan Kazibwe one of the aspirants on Bobi Wine’s new National Unity Platform (NUP) Party, against Vice president Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi who has represented the constituency since 1996.
