Big Story: Bobi Wine in big trouble, NUP founders say he illegally took over their party

Big Story: Bobi Wine in big trouble, NUP founders say he illegally took over their party . Whisper Eye Reports.

Whisper Eye has learnt that a section of NUP founders formally NURP have petitioned the chairperson of electoral commission over what they have refereed to as illegal amendment of NURP political party constitution to change the party name, symbols and colours.

The same section of Ugandans oppose the top leadership of the party and the nomination of Bobi Wine as the party’s presidential candidate in the coming 2021 elections.

According to a formal complaint available on Whisper Eye desk, the resolution amending the party from National Unity , Reconciliation and Development party to National Unity Platform was illegal .

They insist that the nomination of Bobi Wine as a presidential flag bearer without following the party Constitution and national laws was illegal too.

Whisper Eye efforts to get a word from People Power Spokesperson was still futile however James Mubiru one of the first members of the branded party said that all those are kicks of a dieing horse from president Museveni himself.

More details to follow…….
