Masaka Municipality MP , Hon Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba’s strong teammates from Bukoto Central have reached an agreement to contest on different political posts in the forthcoming general elections to end the cold war.
Counsel Magellan Kazibwe and Mr Batemyeto Andrew Lukyamuzi have agreed to unite a head of 2021 election.
Whisper Eye has learnt that Mr Batemyetto shall stand for LC. V chairman for Masaka district as the DP flag bearer and Counsel Kazibwe has been nominated as the Democratic Party (DP) flag bearer for Bukoto Central constituency.
‘Good news from Bukoto Central Constituency. To all the democrats and People Power supporters today 20 June, 2020, the two leading contenders for the DP flag cum ticket and people power endorsement for the Parliamentary seat for Bukoto Central Constituency that is Counsel Magellan Kazibwe and Andrew Batemyeto Lukyamuzi have finally agreed in the well attended DP Bukoto Central Constituency Executive Meeting,’ says Counsel Magellan Kazibwe.
The two protagonists in a brotherly jovial mood after making the said crucial decisions for the good of the party.
“So, there shall be no DP primaries for the DP ticket in Bukoto Central Constituency. Both protagonists shall work together in the huge tasks ahead, stated Counsel Kazibwe.”
Counsel Kazibwe will face Uganda’s vice president Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi in the controversial Scientific Elections on 2021.
