Uganda Peoples Defense Forces (UPDF) MPs have returned Ug shs 20m to National Covid-19 Task Force as ordered by president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Court.
The UPDF parliamentary caucus led by Gen Elly Tumwine handed the cheques to the Prime Minister Dr Rwahana Rugunda.
‘On behalf of the UPDF caucus we have handed over the famous 20m totalling to 200m to The Covid-19 National Task Force,’ says Gen Tumwine.
“And 2m off our salaries every month for six months, the general added”
UPDF MPs are; Col Felix Kulayigye, Gen Elly Tumwine, Gen Katumba Wamala, Maj Gen Pecos Kutesa, Col Francis Takirwa, Col Vicente Oula, Capt Evelyn Asiimwe, Lt Col Flavia Byekwaso, and Capt Susan Lakot,
