Security has been reinforced in the newly created town council of Maddu as the said wife Nalongo Jayne Kalumba and a renown National Resistance Movement (NRM) loyal member the also the mayor of Maddu town council battle for party ticket.
Tomorrow Friday September 16, 2020 NRM party is set to elect flag bearers for sub counties and town councils across the country.
Ms Kalumba is a renown bossy lady in Maddu sub county and too aggressive.
According to our sources Ms Kalumba has deployed security to disrupt the elections tomorrow in Maddu.
However the district security committee has assured votes that they will be protected and peacefully guarded by the district security organs.
Mr Mugenyi Vincent is in the lead according to opinion polls conducted in the area, however he is afraid of vote rigging and bribery.
