I am not a member of Hon Kyagulanyi’s People Power, says Kassiano Wadri

Arua Municipality legislator Kassiano Wadri Ezat denies being a member of People Power Movement.

Former leader of opposition on Democratic Party ticket informed Ugandans.

Mr Wadri was the victor of the controversial Arua municipality by election after the gruesome murder of Hon Ibrahim Abiriga.

He was impressioned together with Kyaddondo East MP Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu and 32 others on the eve of the polling day.

Mr Kyagulanyi also known as Bobi Wine was beaten and tourted together with Mityana municipality MP Zaake Francis Butebi.

‘Am a member of the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT), ‘ says hon Kassiano.

“Together with Gen Mugisha Muntu, we carried out national consultations. Even Hon Kyagulanyi knows I am in ANT.” he added.

MP Wadir crossed from DP to Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), then together with Gen Gregory Mugisha Muntu formed ANT.

‘My colleagues in the FDC know that everyone has an anchor,’ MP Wadir explained.

The legislator advised Me Wine not to form a political party, rather remain an independent candidate.

‘The best Bobi Wine can do is offer himself as an independent because as we speak, I do not think that People Power is a registered political party,’ he stated.

Many members of People Power are worried and panicking as many MPs are denying the newly formed Movement.

They are considering of registering People Power Movement as a Political Party.
