Thinking out LOUD.

RWANDA- UGANDA CONFLICT AND CHANGE.

I WAS ASKED BY ONE OF MY SENATE FRIENDS TODAY, “WHEN CONFRONTED WITH REGIONAL PROBLEMS LIKE MUSEVENI, THE RWANDA CASE, WHAT WILL YOU DO?”

MY TAKE.

To me, It won’t reach that level. Why did it reach there? It’s because of greed for power. The two men believe in power and keeping it at all cost. The law is them, strong men.

I believe in the rule of law, with rule of law and understanding of our political economy and geopolitics, neighbors won’t have fear but fear of losing elections.

In these countries, the leaders are not afraid of elections. That’s why there is anarchy. They are referes, players and supporters in a football political game. They are strong men.

Look around, except Kenya and Tanzania, now congo, the rest of the neighborhood and our country needs Devine interventions.

Imagine if God forbid, all are recalled by God by whatever means and we start a new beginning. I am sure, the RPA, UPDF and SPLA are all yearning for change, new beginning and freedom from being reduced to strong men property will be happier.

As opposition, if we stop dozing and sleeping within the revolution, if we don’t reduce our pride that we are so strong to do it alone, we will be massaging the dictator. It’s time we become wise fools. Yes for long the colonial education developed idiocracy in us, and we must be wise fools.

At 58, we can become wiser. You can be a fool at 40 but beyond that, wisdom is expected. Look, Dr Besigye did 20 years, and if we were genuine, dictatorship would have no place. Now there are those ridiculing the old who struggled to pave way. Now let’s be humble not to blackmail them, scathe them but join hands.

By the way, for any success there is humility, for any failure, even of great men and dynasties, there is pride. I can see it consuming us in Uganda. Hon Bobi wine became a big addition to the struggle. With Dr, Bobi, Mao, Muntu, Winnie Kizza, Nandala MAFABI, POA, Asuman and all change agents against no change, even the stupid moles together, Museveni is finished.

Unfortunately seems we are putting more efforts, actually the little energy we have fighting each other. And happy.

Imagine, if we can’t unite now, if we hate each other, and corrupted with intrigue, what change do we need.

To international community, Uganda’s GDP is $25 million . Kenya $74 million. Uganda loses $300 million yearly and yet USA gives $953 or above million on military aid. These must be checked.

Two way traffic.

  1. Unity of opposition to cause change.
  2. Dailque at National level to cause change. In Kenya, handshakes and BBI.
  3. Revolution. But that is counter productive.

Inclusion, greed needs light to beget darkness in our corruption riddled and ethnically divided nations.

Happy Sunday. Just relaxed home after church thinking about Uganda.
