Kabuye Kyofatogabye Takes Oath for 12th Parliament: Here Comes a Vision-Bearer for Community Transformation in Nakaseke Central

State Minister for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs, Hon. Kabuye Kyofatogabye officially took oath to serve his first term as Member of Parliament for Nakaseke Central Constituency for the period 2026–2031.

Many residents in Nakaseke reflected not only on his political journey, but also on his continued commitment to community transformation through the Kyofa Foundation.

Hon. Kyofatogabye is widely recognized for championing development initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods, empowering vulnerable groups, and extending the vision and ideologies of the NRM government closer to the people through practical community interventions.

He has also been a key voice on several government programs within the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area, extending to Wakiso, Mpigi, and Mukono districts, advocating for proper administration, improved service delivery, urban development, and effective implementation of government affairs.

Since its establishment in 2023, Kyofa Foundation has steadily grown into a pillar of hope for many communities in Nakaseke Central Constituency.

Founded under the vision of Hon. Kyofatogabye, the Community Based Organization was created to address social and economic challenges affecting communities, especially women, youth, and vulnerable households.

The foundation has implemented several initiatives in health, education, agriculture, environmental conservation, and social empowerment.

Through education support initiatives, the foundation has extended assistance to schools and learners by providing scholastic materials such as books, pens, footballs, sports jerseys, and sanitary materials for girls, while also promoting awareness on the importance of education among rural families.

In the health sector, communities have benefited from outreach services, sensitization programs, and support aimed at improving the wellbeing of vulnerable groups.

The foundation has also promoted modern agriculture through trainings, seminars, and sensitization programs designed to strengthen food security and household incomes.

Farmers have benefited from farm inputs including coffee seedlings, sunflower seeds, maize seeds, sprayers, hoes, and other agricultural support materials aimed at boosting productivity and improving livelihoods.

Beyond direct support programs, Kyofa Foundation has continued to mobilize communities to actively participate in development initiatives, equipping people with practical knowledge and skills to improve their standards of living.

At the heart of the organization is a vision of building socially and economically empowered communities capable of sustaining themselves and uplifting others. Its mission focuses on community empowerment through teamwork, innovation, transparency, partnerships, and voluntarism.

Residents and local leaders describe Hon. Kyofatogabye as a leader whose service extends beyond politics, noting that the foundation has become an important platform for addressing community needs and promoting socio-economic transformation at grassroots level.

As he begins his first parliamentary term, many supporters believe his leadership, combined with his community-centered approach, will further strengthen development efforts and help extend government programs and opportunities to the people of Nakaseke Central Constituency.
