The Corporate Games Uganda have grown into a major platform where companies engage in competitive and recreational sports while fostering teamwork, fitness, and professional networking. This year’s season, running from March to November 2025, will feature a wide range of sporting activities, including:
Football Netball Basketball Chess Volleyball Athletics And many more!
With an expected 100 companies participating, the tournament is set to be one of the biggest editions yet, providing a fun and competitive atmosphere for corporate employees across Uganda.
A major highlight from the launch was the announcement that NEC FC Grounds in Bugolobi will serve as the official venue for this season’s games. The well-equipped facility is expected to provide the perfect environment for high-energy competition and corporate engagement.
Beyond sports, the Corporate Games Uganda is also taking a bold step in corporate social responsibility by launching a special initiative to support maternal health in Uganda.
A Corporate Run will be organized to raise awareness and funds for mothers who face challenges during childbirth. Through similar initiatives, the organizers have donated1,000 Mama Kits to two health centers in Gulu and Pallisa. Each Mama Kit, which costs UGX 100,000, contains essential supplies for safe childbirth, including gloves, cotton wool, a plastic sheet, surgical blades, soap, and other necessities.
The need for such an initiative is evident, as highlighted by Naigaga Jennifer, the in-charge of Health Center III in Iganga. She revealed that out of the 120 mothers who seek maternal services at their facility every month, about 70 lack the essential items needed for a safe delivery.
The launch event also saw the participation of major partners and sponsors who are dedicated to making the 2025 Corporate Games a success. Among those present were:
