SPA Hon. Katushabe Ruth Confident in President Museveni’s 2026 Victory During Bukomansimbi Visit

In a recent visit to Bukomansimbi District, Senior Presidential Advisor (SPA) Hon. Katushabe Ruth expressed her firm belief that President Yoweri Museveni would triumph in the 2026 elections. Hon. Ruth made these remarks during a thanksgiving ceremony in Kawoko-Kyaziiza, Busagala Parish, organized by Rev. Father Emmanuel Kateregga following his ordination.

During her speech, Hon. Ruth acknowledged that President Museveni received only 29% of the vote in Bukomansimbi during the last election. She urged the residents to increase their support for Museveni in 2026, highlighting the president’s contributions to the district, such as the provision of coffee seedlings. She emphasized that these seedlings have significantly helped the community combat poverty.

The day also saw Hon. Ruth attending another thanksgiving event for Rev. Father Charles Lwanga Ssegirinya, who was also celebrating his ordination. She took this opportunity to address the gathering, stating that her presence was not to solicit votes but to participate in the celebrations of people she knows and considers family friends.

Hon. Ruth advised aspiring politicians to respect the current office bearers’ terms and wait for the appropriate campaign period to seek votes. She expressed her dedication to her current role as a Senior Presidential Advisor but also hinted at a possible future return to serve the people of Bukomansimbi as their Member of Parliament if fate permits.

On August 3rd, while still in Bukomansimbi, Hon. Ruth attended the introduction ceremony of the daughter of the Bukomansimbi District Kadhi, Sheikh Mohammed Ssemakadde, who introduced her husband to her parents. At the event, Hon. Ruth thanked Sheikh Ssemakadde for his unwavering support for President Museveni and his exemplary leadership in the community.

The day concluded with Hon. Ruth attending a wedding ceremony, where she encouraged the newlyweds to support each other, foster mutual development, and maintain their love. She thanked the couple for their unwavering support for President Museveni and extended her best wishes for their marriage.

Hon. Katushabe Ruth’s visit underscored her commitment to both her official duties and her personal connections within the community, while also rallying support for President Museveni’s future political endeavors.
