The atmosphere at the NUP headquarters in Makerere, Kavule, was charged with anticipation as the party wrapped up its rigorous training program for registrars and focal persons. The sessions, conducted by seasoned party officials and grassroots organizers, focused on equipping participants with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the intricacies of membership registration and community engagement.

Participants expressed enthusiasm and readiness to apply their newfound skills in the field, highlighting the importance of grassroots mobilization in shaping the political landscape.

“This training has been invaluable in preparing us for the task ahead,” remarked one registrar from Bukomasimbi echoing the sentiments of many others who attended.

With the conclusion of the training, attention now turns to President Bobi Wine, whose presence at the launch of the nationwide membership campaign underscores the party’s commitment to grassroots empowerment.

As a champion of social justice and political reform, President Bobi Wine has galvanized support from across the country, positioning NUP as a formidable contender in Ugandan politics space.

Speaking ahead of the launch event, party officials emphasized the significance of the membership registration drive in expanding NUP’s reach and diversifying its support base.

“Our goal is to ensure that every Ugandan who shares our vision for a better future has a voice and a stake in our movement,” remarked a senior party leader.

The nationwide membership campaign is expected to harness the collective energy and enthusiasm of NUP supporters, as they work tirelessly to recruit new members and engage communities at the grassroots level.

Through door-to-door outreach, community meetings, and social media initiatives, the party aims to amplify its message of change and inclusivity.

As the sun sets on the training grounds in Makerere, Kavule, a sense of anticipation fills the air.

For NUP members and supporters, the launch of the nationwide membership campaign represents not just a milestone, but a rallying cry for a new era of political activism and civic engagement.
