Masaza Cup Tournament: Buddu vow to revenge Mawokota after snatching an experienced coach Dunga for this season.

The famous county of Buganda, Buddu has appointed Simon Dungu popularly known as coach Dunga as their coach for this season’s Artel Masaza Cup.

After losing the third place to Mawokota FC last year, Buddu is on a mission to revenge by winning the tournament.

According to the youthful Buddu FC manager Ssalongo Zziwa Stephen told Whisper Eye News that they have made enough preparations to win the Airtel Masaza Cup this year.

“We appeal to all fans to support the preparations of the team, to win the tournament this year,” says the team Manager Zziwa.

Coach Ddunga was the assistant coach for Mawokota in 2013 winning the tournament under coach Edward Ggolola.

I’m 2017 he won it as the head coach with Gomba Lions, in 2018 was with Buddu, and since 2022 he has been with Singo FC. His vast experience in this tournament gives Buddu FC a new hope to challenge her counterparts this year.

Johnson Ssenyonga’s sole goal was enough for Bulemeezi to defeat Gomba Lions at Muteesa II stadium, Wankuluku last year to win the tournament.
