The senior presidential advisor on Industry, Hon Ann Amelia Kyambadde has started awakening her projects in the Mawokota North constituency ahead of 2026, general elections.
Ms Amelia Kyambadde who is the former minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives yesterday donated agricultural inputs to farmers as a way of boosting the sector in the Mpigi district through increasing production.
She launched a campaign to promote agriculture from village level, donating spraying pumps, hoes as well as sensitizing residents.
Under this program five villages have benefited from Muduuma Sub County including; Busanyi, Jjezza B, Nvuba, Buzimwa, receiving over 30 Spraying pumps, and hoes.
Former Mawokota North MP, Hon Amelia, argued youths to actively participate in her programs. She has a special program for the youths intending to create employment opportunities through promoting cottage industries and vocational training.
In the late 2000s, Hon Amelia started several development projects in Mawokota North, but some of the projects have been facing challenges since 2020 after the outbreak of COVID-19, and the post-2021 Parliamentary elections effects.
