Fr. Kiibi applauds Hon Amelia Kyambadde for delivering 100bags of cement, 20m to St. Joseph Catholic Parish, Mpigi as promised last month. #WhisperEyeNews

The parish priest of St Joseph Catholic church, Mpigi Rev. Fr Deogratious Kiibi Kateregga has applauded hon Ann Amelia Kyambadde for fullfiling her promise of 100 bags of cement and Ugx. 20m from president Museveni as a contribution towards the construction of the parish church.

Fr Kiibi has urged the congregation to appreciate hon Amelia Kyambadde for her contribution to the ongoing construction of the parish, Mawokota North, and Mpigi at large.

“Hon Amelia we’re very appreciative to you, many leaders and politicians make promises but the challenge we face most, they don’t fullfil their promises,” says Fr Kiibi.

“Maama Amelia Kyambadde you’re a great leader, who promise and fullfil your promises. We have received 100bags of cement and 20m from president Museveni, thank you hon Amelia. We need leaders who are concerned about their people,” he added.

After receiving the contributions, Fr Kiibi offered blessings to hon Amelia Kyambadde, and her team including NRM’s chairman Kaweesi Sulayiman, among others.

The mass was attended by hundreds of believes, including former finance minister Gerald Ssendawula who is supportive to the church according to Fr Kiibi.
