Zombo: Suspected thieves raids several shops in Paidha

Unknown thieves have broken into Pepsi depot, Kawacom Offices and Ojambo Super market in central ward Paidha Town Council Zombo District and made of with unspecified amount of  millions cash and properties.

Police have cordoned the crime scene at Pepsi depot  central ward Paidha Town Council and security guards are answering questions from investigators of Paidha Central Police Station.

From my observation, the padlock of the pepsi depot was not broken but workers who reported for work today  morning said a metallic  box  for keeping cash was taken.

At Kawacom offices,  a worker told me that a computer has been stollen and couldn’t delve into more details.

Equally, at Ojambo  mini Super market owned by an Indian Businessman, unspecified amount of cash is reported to have been stolen.

All the shops are heavily guarded  by armed security guards.

Therefore it’s not clear how thieves made their ways into these shops.

The District CID and Deputy CID inspector of police Julius Masendi  are heading a team of investigators at the crime scene starting with Pepsi depot.

Developing story.
