A 76 year old man identified as William Wacibra,a resident of Akuru South cell, Nyaravur-Angal Town council,Nebbi District reportedly committed suicide on Christmas Day near Akuru stream on Nyaravur-Parombo road.
The LC 1 Chairperson of Akuru South Cell John Ochan said the deceased body was ” found hanging with a rope on a tree near a stream by some young girls who went to fetch water”.
Felix Onyon Festus,an area resident says the deceased was residing alone.
The body was handed back to the relatives for burial in the morning of December 26 after it was witnessed by Police from Agwok Police Post .
