A 15 year old boy was cut several times with razor blade on the back, by a man who accused him of having a love affair with his sister.
The incident happened at Pakadha Trading Center Village, Pakadha Parish Abanga Sub-county Zombo District in the wee hours of December 26.
The suspect accused of inflicting injuries with razor blade on the teenager was only identified as Geva, said to be in his 20s, a resident of Pakadha Trading Center Village.
By press time, the suspect was yet to report to Pakadha Police post in Abanga sub county local leaders say.
It is rare to hear or see some one being cut with razorblade several times.
The victim who is currently admitted in critical condition at Pakadha Health Center III struggled to narrate the account of the shocking incident.
” He got me moving with his sister, he then started beating his sister and later descended on me.He first beat me up , threw me to the ground and cut my back several times with a razorblade, I bled seriously and was rushed to this facility, I’m in deep pain ” He told this Publication whilst on sick bed in Pakadha Health Center III.
The LC1 Chairperson of Pakadha Trading Center Village , Pakadha Parish Abanga Sub-county Joshep Thuambe said, one grass thatch house with all properties in it belonging to the suspect was torched by the stroke of a pen after the news broke out.
He confirmed having found a new razorblade with blood stains at the crime scene and also revealed that the victim lost alot of blood.
” when the young boy was cut several times on the back, He raised alarm . We came and rushed him to Pakadha Health Center III when he was seriously bleeding,but the suspect fled the scene upon learning that people were coming. We got a new razorblade with blood stain at the crime scene and the case is now registered at Pakadha Police post”. Thuwambe explained to this publication.
Upon learning of the escalating tension, police from Pakadha Police post intervened to rescue the situation after one house with all properties in it had already been torched reportedly by the relatives of the victim.
Police in Zombo are yet to publish a report about the incident.
