Ruth Katushabe deep inks Museveni’s semantics on patriotism & social economic transformation at church event in Mukono

The Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs and Translations Hon Ruth Katushabe was the chief guest at the homecoming day event of Sayuni Church Cathedral Namayiba in Mukono District where hundreds of born again gathered to celebrate their holy day. #WhisperEyeNews

The event was organized by Mr and Mrs Kiyini who happen to be in charge of the church that has been a pillar in spreading the word of God to the people with many giving heart-touching testimonies over their good work.

Mrs Kiyini in her speech thanked Hon Katushabe for accepting to turn up for the event assuring her that in Mukono, the NRM will rise to the top again as she (Mrs Kiyini) and several members of team Thorough are working day and night to see that President Museveni wins the next coming election by all means.

Hon Ruth Katushabe the chief guest thanked the people of Sayuni Cathedral church for organizing such a great event that brings up all born again followers of God in Mukono District. In her speech to the congregation, Hon Katushabe emphasised the issue of patriotism among people saying that it’s not enough to always be in church praying when one does not love his or her country. She said that Uganda’s existence and strength lie in the hands of we Ugandans who must put the country first before themselves.

She added that the issue of patriotism is key as always talked about by President Museveni in most of his speeches because it’s patriotism that builds the spirit of togetherness among all Ugandans who come from a wide range of tribes and cultures as well as an enabling factor in fighting corruption in the country.

Hon Katushabe also hinted at the issue of social-economic transformation where she advised the people in the area to take advantage of the prevailing government poverty eradication programs like Emyooga and PDM to uplift their lives. She added that in some areas, PDM money lies dormant on parish accounts simply because people have not taken the initiative to use this money that the government sends to them tempting Parish chiefs to use all sorts of tactics to steal it.

The Senior Presidential Advisor also tasked the people to report the corrupt officers in their district and sub-countries or parishes because most of the time, these corrupt officials tarnish the name of the government yet they are individuals who are known and come from our communities.

She also used the opportunity to thank the people of Mukono especially Namayiba for loving President Museveni asking them to keep voting for him whenever the time for elections comes.

” I want to thank the people of this area for loving the President. This is good news because it’s a sign that you have seen the light and not misled by those preaching hate and supporting gay activities. ” She said

Hon Katushabe also added that even in the book of Bible, God didn’t hate King David because he had led his people for so long but rather he blessed him the more and even his son Solomon managed to be the King later after.

The event pulled so many other leaders including the Budaka RDC Ms Betty Luta, former Mukono South MP Hon Muyanja Ssenyonga, current MP Mukono South Hon Fred Kayondo, members of Team Thorough-YKM led by Pastor Mbabazi, among others
