Mawokota convinces Ameria Kyambadde to re-contest for 2026, applauds her excellent work as MP

Residents of Mawokota County North have convinced former area MP Ann Ameria Kyambadde to re-contest for the Mawokota North seat in 2026, appreciating her excellent work as the MP.

Our reliable source animated to the former Minister of Trade Kyambadde revealed that groups of people from various sub-counties making up Mawokota North, namely; Kammengo, Muduuma, Kiringente and Mpigi Town Council are flocking Ameria’s home at Nakyesanja in Muduuma to support her 2026 parliamentary bid.

However, due to tight security at her home in Nakyesanja, our reporter managed to count more than five taxis a day entering Ameria’s Nakyesanja home.

Recently, the Mpigi District Local Government awarded Hon Ameria Kyambadde an Award for her excellent work and contribution to the development of the Mpigi district when she was the MP for Mawokota North.

Based on the teams visiting Ameria’s Nakyesanja home, and love for her candidature Ameria was lured to re-contest in 2026 although she has not declared it to the public.
