Local leaders have condemned an incident in which The chairperson of a Pdm sacco group was reportedly murdered at Zingili cell, in Zingili Ward Paidha Town Council Zombo District.
The deceased was identified as Fosca Oroma 28, who seperated with the husband a year ago and left behind four children.
Her lifeless body was found dumped in her house and a piece of clothing was tied around her neck.
Her unknown killers reportedly tore one side of a jean trouser she was wearing.
Her neighbors said she was picked by some boda boda men at around 10:00Pm on October 29.
The LC 1 chairperson of Zingili Cell innocent Otingcwinyu said ” I got the news about her death at around 3:00am this morning, upon coming, I saw her lifeless body. The neighbors told me that she was brought by some boda boda men and they were even talking to each other, for them they thought she was brought back from where she went out to relax , it’s quite unfortunate, we reported the matter to police but we strongly condemned this act”
The treasurer of Zingili Ward PDM Saaco Fred Orom said “the deceased also a member of the Saaco vetting committee was a hard working person who has left a big void in the structure of the Saaco”
In 2021, in the same village, a man reportedly killed her own wife.
The area Councillor of Zingili Cell Pascal kumakech has called for calm as police are ready to launch inquest into the incident.
Last week, The lifeless body of a man was also discovered in the same Village of Zingili Cell in Paidha Town Council.
