Oyam sends 7 students to  university under district quarter system – Report

Out of this seven, five were from  Loro secondary school and two from Acaba secondary school. #UgandaNews #Uganda

The students who passed from  Loro secondary school includes Ojuka Joshua from Aleka sub county who was admittedat  Mbarara university,Akello Immaculate from Loro town council is admitted at Makerere University,Abang Dorine from  Loro sub county shall study at Kyambogo university,Acio Dona who is also from was admitted at Makerere university and  Akulu Mildren from  Otwal sub county has been admitted to study in Gulu university.

Other two students who went for district quarter system from Acaba ss were  Atyang Oscar from Otwal sub county who is admittes to  iLira university and  Obong Ambrose from  Minakulu has been  admitted at Makerere University.

Ben Mark Awio the headteacher of Loro secondary school in his exchited speech wished God’s blessings to these students  who have advance to the next level of education saying they must study extremely hard to represent the future generation.

He further reminded other school administrator that if they failed to double their effort Loro ss may take all the seven slots for the district quarter system in Oyam saying at his the level of commitments have gone very high among all the education stakeholders.

Francis Oleke Ocero the  district education officer of Oyam  me  Oyam district in his remarks caution these students against unacceptable behaviours such as homosexuality,drunkardness,and other immorality that can spoil their future.

He further rallied parents of these students to render necessary support for the smooth complitions of their causes.

Nomy Otyeno speaker of Oyam district local council who spoke on behalf of council applauded thes students for their exellence performance that has put Oyam on map by reminding them that their  future is now  at their own hands saying that  it is now  upon them to choose what kind of life they want live in future.

Otyeno in his  conclusion equally  caustioned these students against imorality saying these may discourage other young ugandans from studies.
