Breaking News: DP Kiringente Sub County LC. V councilor Busuulwa John kidnapped by unknown gunmen

The LC. V councilor for Kiringente Sub County in Mpigi district John Busuulwa has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen today from his home at Namutamala village. #WhisperEyNews

One of the family members told Whisper Eye News that Mr Busuulwa has been picked up from his home by men who had guns in their vehicle.

“They have picked him up from home and told us to go to Mpigi CPS. Unfortunately, we have reached the police station and we couldn’t find him,” says the family member.

Relatives have reached at various police stations including CID headquarters at Kibuli but their efforts have not produced any results.

Dozen of DP supporters in Mpigi have petitioned the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Hon Nobert Mao for help to get justice.

“If Mr Busuulwa has a case to answer let it be known. He should be in legal detention cells known by his relatives,” a DP member said.

Councillor Busuulwa has shown interest to contest for one of the two big offices in the Mpigi district either as LC. V chairman or Mawokota North MP.
