Sickly MP Malende plans to move motion to address salaries of public servants

The Kampala District Woman MP Hon Shamim Malende has today held a press conference where she vowed to move a motion at the flow of Parliament as regards to the welfare of all public servantsm

Malende says the motion will be seeking to look into the welfare of the public servants, including police officers who are earning very little money compared to other public servants.

Malende added that it is high time that the government considers improving the welfare of its employees as it is the root cause of increased gun violence and other forms of underfed services.

Recently a driver who works with the Judiciary was arrested for allegedly saying that he sometimes thinks of crushing the vehicle into a truck to kill himself including the judges he drives.

Ministry of Finance has on many occasions claimed that the government has no capacity to increase salaries of all civil servants as the country is shot of finances.
