UYD’s Wasswa Charles, a pillar in Bobi Wine’s Kyadondo East MP 2017 victory weds

Wasswa Charles made remarks during his magnificent wedding ceremony at Speke Resort Munyonyo on Saturday evening during his reception with guests.

“I will continue to fight for social justice and democracy in Uganda. It’s time for president Museveni to retire and our generation takes over the governance of our country,” says Mr. Wasswa.

Wasswa was influential and also commanded all UYD members during the 2017 Kyadondo bye-election that saw Hon Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert a.k.a Bobi Wine elected to Uganda’s parliament.

On Saturday morning, Wasswa tied the not with his longtime fiance Rose at St. Francis Chapel at Makerere University in the presence of their parents and politicians mainly from the opposition side.

Uganda Young Democrats (UYD) founders including Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Lord councilor and KCCA secretary for finance, John Mary Ssebuwufu, former presidential candidate Samuel Walter Lubega Mukaaku, and other UYD former leaders including; Mr. Lubowa Henry, Counsel Samuel Muyizzi Kayaayu, who is the chairman of KCCA evaluation court, former KCCA Deputy Lord Mayor Hon Sulayiman Kidandala, Mr. Kamulegeya William, Mr. Vincent Mayanja, Counsel Kenneth Paul Kakande, KCCA Lord Councillor Kataabu Moses.

UYD National Organizing Secretary Mr. Sewino Lawrence and his deputy Mr. Mugonza Andrew and Deputy secretary general of UYD Mr. Kizito Johnson attended the function.

Other guests included; Bukoto East MP Hon Kanyike Ronald, Mawokota North Mp Hon Hillary Innocent Kiyaga popularly known as Dr. Hilderman among others.
