“I will never forgive Museveni for being too lenient on the disrespective youths.” Frank M. Gashumba

Sisimuka Uganda founder Mr. Frank Gashumba ( @FrankGashumba) while appearing on one of the top political shows yesterday said that President Museveni is partly to blame for the ever-growing moral decay especially among the youths because he has been too lenient.

Gashumba said that in some countries like Rwanda, one can not act like a nuisance or utter vulgar statements without the law taking action on him or her.

Gashumba’s words come at a time when a certain section of the public on social media was celebrating the death of Hon. Gen Elly Tumwine – MP a 4-star General who fired the first shot of the liberation war.

Gashumba said that many youths especially those in the opposition have for long been insulting and defaming highly respected people in the society including the Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom, Nabagereka, and church leaders but nothing has been to put the offenders into order.

Gashumba also used the opportunity to attack the National Unity Platform and its leader Bobi Wine for remaining mute when some known people who claim to be working and supporting him come out and libel highly respected members of the society.

Gashumba said , just like Barack Obama who came out and distanced self from a church leader who was attacking whites during the 2008 US presidential elections, Kyagulanyi should follow suit if at all what the dirty-mouthed people in his party speak out doesn’t represent his official opposition nor the party’s.
