Mr. Kabuleta while addressing journalists at Need headquarters in Bugoloobi, Kampala on Monday said that many scientists have advised parents not to allow their young and teenage children to be vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccines, since they are body immunity can resist Corona Virus.
Sources close to the ministry of health intimated to Whisper Eye News that the ministry is planning massive Covid-19 vaccination in schools, however, some of top officials in the ministry opposes the action, saying that they must receive consent from parents.
“I have refused my children to be vaccinated the covid-19 vaccine, No! Many experienced scientists have talked about the negative implications of the vaccine to young and teenage children,” says Mr Kabuleta.
“I advise other parents not to accept forceful vaccination of thier children. They must have consent first,” he added.
Mr Kabuleta said that he is not against Covid-19 vaccination among young and teenage children, but he is fighting against vaccination of children without the consent of their parents.
“It is better for parents to be sensitised about the benefits and negative implications of the covid-19 vaccine to young and teenage children, so for them make an informed decision,” Mr. Kabuleta explained.
He further warned the ministry of health top officials who are pushing this project to get money after raising the number of vaccinated people in Uganda to face it, if the project backfires.
