Missing man found alive after spending five days in forest

A man who went missing in Kalangala district on Wednesday last week has been found naked in Lutoboka Central Forest Reserve.

Andrew Lwanga was found unconscious on the edge of a cliff in the forest reserve on Sunday evening following a long search.

Residents from Kanyogoga Village where Lwanga resides had lost hope of finding him alive.

It is alleged that Lwanga tried to commit suicide at Lutoboka Landing Site shortly before he went missing.

Lwanga’s relative, Richard Mutanda, says they had lost hope of finding him alive after four-days of searching.

Betty Nabulesa, one of the residents narrates how Lwanga disappeared from home on Wednesday.
