2021 Elections: NUP enjoyed 100% win in Youth Councillor elections in Gomba East

National Unity Platform (NUP) party won all youth Councillor in Gomba East constituency yesterday.

In Kyegonza Sub-county Mr Kikamaze James won the Male youth Councillor seat and
Namugenyi Speciozo won the Female youth Councillor seat.

In Mpenja Sub-county, where NUP MP aspirant in Gomba East Mr Ssaazi Godfrey popularly known as ‘Awakula Ennume’ is born NUP won both seats, Lubowa Mark was elected the male youth Councillor, and Mis Morrine won the female youth Councillor.

Ttaba-Binzi Sub county, Naddamba Magreat emerged victorious as the female youth Councillor and Mr Ssemakula Francis also declared the Male youth Councillor.

In an exclusive interview with Mr Ssaazi Godfrey, he told Whisper Eye news that he is working to see that NUP president hon Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert popularly known as Bobi Wine wins his home area.

“I have organised our youths in NUP, and organised leadership workshops to them which have helped us a lot. They know what to do,” says Mr Ssaazi.

“I’m greatly extolled with a record performance of our youths in Gomba East, I know we are winning the parliamentary seat too, with over 80%. People are voting for change,” he added.
