NRM leadership in Masaka has allegedly paid the electoral commission to declare FDC’s Kayemba or Asiimwe of NRM to overturn Dr Abed Bwanika clear victory

National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate in Kimanya-Kabonera constituency in Masaka City Dr Abed Bwanika poised to win the seat with a landslide victory.

However, a reliable source informed Whisper Eye that National Resistance Movement (NRM) bouned officials has bribed Electoral Commission (EC) officials to declare the second candidate in the race.

NRM’s Asiimwe Robert is weakening as we get close to the polling day.

Thus, NRM has made an alliance with Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) flag bearer Kayemba Godfrey Afaayo, to be declared if he finishes in the second position.

The source informed us that NRM paid 100m to EC officials through a one Mr Musinguzi a “broker” working in the Masaka Electoral Commission.

“In an attempt to avoid humiliation in Masaka City, NRM is struggling to overturn Dr Abed Bwanika’s clear win of NUP,” says the source.

“There is an order for Electoral Commission in Masaka to declare the second candidate in the race among Mr Asiimwe and Mr Kayemba,” the source further said.
