Whisper Eye has learnt that Kyankima cell LC 111 councilor aspirant Nsubuga Acksam,24 was on Monday 4th January 2021 arrested at Sazza headquarters in Kyadondo East for allegedly picking a voters location slip for his brother called Haddad.

That the arrest was masterminded by a one Miyimbwa Eddylee aka Bisawo bya sente who tipped of the RDC and together they arrested the youthful Nsubuga.

This week the Electoral commission started to dispatch off voter’s location slips at parish levels across the country to enable voters locate their polling stations.

Efforts to reach the detainee by either his family or lawyers have been futile, news coming in from a reliable source is that the detainee has not been brought to court which is against the 48 hours law.

When Whisper Eye approached the OC station Kasangati police post about the same case we were told that the RDC was the complainant and they could not issue police bond without his authorization.

Speaking to Nkunyingi Muwada early this morning on phone, he said that he has embarked on the legal battle to have the National Unity Platform (NUP) flagbearer released from what he termed illegal detention.

Nsubuga Acxsum is in a bloody race with NRM flagbearer Muyimbwa Eddylee aka Bisawo Byasente who his supporters accuse of being behind the arrest.

Whisper Eye’s efforts to get a word from Muyimba as futile as he didn’t pick his phone.
