Stalemate draw in Wakiso as defending champions Vipers share points with Wakiso Giants.

This has been Vipers first game of the season after being away for sometime for continental duty. Vipers came into this game with an upper hand to win the match following their good record against Wakiso Giants.

However things didn’t go as planned after being able to secure just a point in the game.
The venoms were the first to score the opener thank to a well delivered corner kick that striker Muhammed Shaban headed in in the 7th minute.

By the end of the First half, vipers was in total control and the venoms defence looked tight and sealed with no seriously threats from the hosts.

However the second half was a different story from the venoms as Wakiso geared up to to save themselves from the embarassement. In the 65th minute, finally their continuous attacks paid devidents as striker Vianney Ssekajugo put the ball past Vipers Keeper.

The Wakiso giants Keeper Emukule Derrick was the showman of the day as he saved the hosts on many occasions. Vipers tried so hard to secure the 3 points but the Wakiso giants Keeper kept in his team in the game till the final whistle was blown. The game ended 1-1
