Police invade NUP offices in Jinja. Whisper Eye Reports

Uganda police has this early morning invaded National Unity Platform offices in Jinja.

Whisper Eye has learnt that NUP offices in Jinja are now heavily armed with police men together with its security forces.

Saulo Nsongambi among the coordinators  of NUP in Jinja has been arrested .

Joel Ssenyonyi the spokesperson of NUP has also confirmed the raid by security forces.

We have learnt about the raid on NUP offices in Jinja by heavily armed police officers. They have arrested the office attendant plus one of our coordinators. And then you hear our leaders say that they returned democracy to the country. Just like their predecessors, they too will go!, the NUP Mouthpiece posted earlier on his twitter.

By press time police was yet to speak about what lead to the operation
