Ssewanyana for Makindye West MP seat. Whisper Eye Reports

JEEMA’s candidate in  favour of incumbent MP Allan  Ssewanyana for Makindye West MP seat race.

Whisper Eye has learnt that the Mengo based party candidate for Makindye West withdrew from the MP race.

Ssentongo Abdulnoor Kyamundu accepted to back Hon Allan Ssewanyana for the good of opposition.

Ssentongo who is also the Jeema Spokesperson took the decision to promote the spirit of fielding one candidate per every elective position.

Mp Allan Ssewanyana is among those vocal mps that have been offered a much desired NUP ticket after what has been described as a tough vetting process.

After wining the ticket Hon Ssewayana called upon all his competitors to back him for the good of the struggle.

Mr Musiri David who was among those Hon. Allan Ssewanyana defeated for the NUP ticket also recently  accepted to back Allan and withdrew his ambitions of contesting as an independent.

MP Allan Ssewanyana took to his social media to share the good news.

Thank you JEEMA and Hon Kyamundu….together the struggle shall continue…!! tweeted Hon Allan Ssewanyana,  hours after JEEMA declared support for the legislator .

Uganda’s opposition faces an uphill task to defeat the NRM as many opposition members stand against one NRM candidate in most elective positions .
