It was all red and blue as former Kampala Board chairman Yusuf Nsibambi was nominated as a candidate for the Mawokota South MP seat2021.
Nsibambi who is vying for the Mawokota South seat on the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) flag was nominated yesterday (Friday)
He faces stiff competition from NUP’s Joel Mirembe Nsubuga incumbent MP Seguya John Bosco Lubyayi who is independent and NRM’s Susan Nakawuki .
The flamboyant lawyer painted Mawokota South blue and red as his motorcade with a rare vehicle nicknamed Air Force One sailed through the town enroot to the district headquarters of Mpigi where he was nominated.
Standing a top his self proclaimed Air Force one ,the renown FDC diehard is also a diehard supporter of Bobi Wine donned a jacket with people power our power logo holding a large key the symbol of FDC, he waved to his overjoyed massive supporters who were chanting people power our power slogans praising him and Bobi Wine .
There was a planned move by NUP a political outfit of Bobi Wine not to front a candidate against Yusuf Nsimbabi however Joel Mirembe protested the move.
Whisper Eye has learnt that Yusuf Nsibambi, a lawyer , lecturer and a businessman is defined by the hard work which boasts the massive support he enjoys in the area.
Yusuf Nsibambi has promised to represent Mawokota South and deliver a new city where the incumbent Lubyayi of NRM failed.
