Tears: Dozens feared dead as Building under construction collapses. Whisper Eye Reports

Police have responded to a distress call in Kelezia Zone Makindye division, Kampala after a four-storeyed building under construction has collapsed.

According to Eye witnesses have told Whisper Eye news that the collapsed building contained workers inside and there is no hope to find them live.

“A number of people are trapped under the rubble but rescue efforts are underway,” says the Eye Witnesses.

A joint team of Police fire and rescue services and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) on the duty to retrieve these people live or dead.

It is said that the incident occurred at around 9:00 PM.
