National Unity Platform (NUP) members in Mpigi have been amused by top leadership for collecting money from City suave lawyer Counsel Yusuf Nsibambi to prevent him from competition.

Whisper Eye top investigative journalist made his way to a night rally addressed by excited Counsel Yusuf Nsibambi of FDC and spilled almost all secrets after refusing anybody from recording or taking pictures and recording a video at the rally.

Whisper Eye journalist managed to record a video although without enough light for his safety.

From his words Mr Nsibambi told residents of Mawokota South that he was assured of NUP support together with its leadership led by Bobi Wine.

“We are only three people who were accepted to use NUP party colours. Assumani Basalirwa of Jeema, Paulo Mwiru of Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) and me,” says Mr Nsibambi.

“I have received forms to collect signatures of all people who want to second President Bobi Wine, no body else has received the same. If you want to sign on those papers come to Jalia City, you will be given transport allowances,” Counsel Nsibambi explains at his night rally.

Residents were shocked after calling NUP coordinator in Mawokota South constituency Dr Mirembe Joel Nsubuga about counsel Yusuf Nsibambi’s allegations and sounded unaware of anything.

Dr Mirembe is the National coordinator of informal sector in NUP who started mobilisation for Bobi Wine’s NUP party in Mawokota south constituency.

“I have been given authority to open up the office of NUP at Kayabwe town council please endeavour to come tomorrow for the official ceremony,” Mr Nsibambi said.

After Nsibambi giving out bags of Money Dr Mirembe Joel has been betrayed and he will not be given the ticket nor instruments of power like NUP forms, access to party office in the area.
