Kampala Lord Mayor aspirant Mr Joseph Mayanja a musician turned politician popularly known by his stage name Dr Jose Chameleone says he has solutions to Kampala floods.

Everyday when it rains, Kampala is hit by floods which affects business community mainly and residents.

According to Mr Mayanja, these floods are caused by poor drainage system and outdated building plans.

Many buildings in the city pour water directly into roads and on to the streets. This courses running water into shops, markets and affects the business community.

Mr Mayanja said that the Kampala City Council Authority planning and engineering unit must develop

Secondary the drainage system in Kampala needs an overhaul to meet the challenge on increased water tapped from buildings due to a considerable increase in rain .

The two directorates , Physical planning and the Engineering and Technical services must work together to eliminate floods in Kampala City.

Singer Joseph Mayanja is running his Lord Mayoral campaigns basing on providing solutions to the challenges, thus branding him self Mr Solutions.
