Opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) party is worried by the close ties between four-five-year terms Kawempe North MP Haji Latif Ssebaggala Ssengendo and president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni just like his elder bro Al-haji Nasser Ntege Ssebaggala popularly known as Seya.

Reports from Kamwokya indicate that top leaders are scared, about the way former Kampala mayor Seya picked nomination forms with a lot of enthusiasm, however failed to return the forms.

Intelligence intimated to the Kisaasi based family to us that there was a government funded meeting that convinced Al-haji Nasser Ssebaggala to give way to his young brother Hon Latif Ssengendo for the success of their plan.

The meeting also resolved that Al-haji Nasser Ssebaggala was to stay silent about Kampala issues, on arguments that he (Seya) may cause doubt among people thus discrediting Hon Latif Ssengendo’s candidature.

Although Hon Latif has not yet fully decided about standing against Kampala Lord Mayor Lukwago, the leakage of this information has affected his candidature.
