Ugandans may have a reason to smile as government takes a step to improve the sickly health sector.

The government has acquired state of art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) equipment for the 13 regional referral hospitals.

According to government sources the ICU equipment landed on Thursday August 27, 2020 at Entebbe Airport from Israel.

Out source revealed that by September the coming month installation will be complete.

After a successful installation of the ICU in the 13 regional referral hospitals, this will be the major move in the heath center by the ruling government ever since they come to power in 1986.

so known as an intensive therapy unit or intensive treatment unit (ITU) or critical care unit (CCU), is a special department of a hospital or health care facility that provides intensive care medicine.
