Say the Truth: Former Bobi Wine aid applauds credible Gen Mukaaku

Former aid to Kyadondo East MP Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine, Tumuhairwe Denis applauds Gen Samuel Walter Lubega Mukaaku for his great contribution to the struggle to dislodge president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

Mr Tumuhairwe referred to Mr Mukaaku a hero due to his great contribution to the struggle to defeat president Museveni which is traced back in 1994 when he was part of the founding members of the Uganda Young Democrats (UYD).

“I am proud to celebrate a hero Hon. Samuel Walter Lubega Mukaaku, a founding member and originator of the UYD idea,” says Mr Tumuhairwe.

“I had always seen Mr Mukaaku from a far until 3yrs ago when i closely worked with him in Kyadondo East by-election. Mr Mukaaku headed our Secretariat where i was a secretary,” he explained.

According to Mr Tumuhairwe his short (2months) experience working with Mr. Mukaaku introduced “me to a man like no other, One that i had not seen in my 20yrs in active politics”.

“Samuel Mukaaku is hardworking, disciplined, respectful, highly experienced and extremely selfless”, says Mr Tumuhairwe.

He explained to Whisper Eye news that after the Kyadondo East by-elections, Mr Mukaaku led the team in Jinja East where Paul Mwiru won the by-elections, Bugiri Municipality where hon Assuman Basarirwa won and the historical Arua by-elections where most agents of Hon Kassiano Wadri were arrested by the police including the candidate by senior Mukaaku protected and delivered the big win to the People Power Movement.

“A person I respect and admire.
I am proud to celebrate you sir”, he stated.

Basing on Mr Tumuhairwe’s statements there are personal trivial issues as to why Mr Mukaaku was sacked from his responsibility as the vice chairperson of the Elections Management Commission.
