‘Ebiruma Abayaaye’: European Union praises DP organisation asks leadership to implement party core objective. Whisper Eye Reports

The delegation of European union has praised Uganda’s oldest political party : Democratic Party for high level organisation as they visited party leadership yesterday at Balintuma road DP offices.

DP party president, Gulu municipality MP Lyandra Komakech and other party leaders welcomed the delegation headed by European Union ambassador H.E Attilio Pacifici.

The delegation applauded the level of organisation at party offices located along Balintuma road in Mengo Kampala.

During the discussion the Ambassadors asked party leadership to implement the good ideas, and core objective of the party as a way of promoting democracy in Uganda.

DP has stood a test of 66 years and in 1961 party president Benedicto Kiwanuka become the first prime minister of Uganda.
