Road to 2021: Educationalist Mulondo nominated for Luweero NRM Woman MP primaries. Whisper Eye Reports

Educationalist Cissy Mulondo was fully nominated as a candidate for National Resistance Movement (NRM) Luwero Woman MP race .

Ms Mulondo after her nomination on Friday August 14, 2020, told press at NRM Secretariat (Electoral Commission section) that she has come to put to an end of muted voice of the historical district.

“Lewero contributed immensely towards the Liberation War in 1980-1986, however for the last 15 years we have no voice to represent us,” says Ms Cissy Mulondo.

“The voice of our people must be amplified by their MP, the voice to implement government policies in education, creation of jobs to especially youths, market for agricultural products, crafts, among others, and infrastructure development must be hard in the house to be addressed”, she explained.

Privy sources close to NRM Secretariat, the party plans a paradigm shift in the leadership of the area as it is considered as the strongest hold of the party.

Ms Mulondo applauded the process of nomination, saying that it was so organised, hailing party leadership led by president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the great work.
