Senegalese legislator and President of Women Socialist Movement honYeya Diallo has fully recovered from COVID-19 pandemic.

Ms Yeya tested positive of COVID-19, on the 23rd day of June, 2020, and consequently informed the entire nation.

She informed the world of her positive status, through the statement she issued to the media that;


” I would like to inform the national opinion that I have been tested positive of COVID-19″.

This self revelation of Hon. Yeya’s COVID-19, positive status left very many of her supporters and friends across the globe worried for a while up to the 10th day of July 2020.

Similarly on the 10th day of July 2020, Hon. Yeya Diallo gladly informed the entire universe about her COVID-19, negative status.

This came up after a series of tests were conducted and all produced negative results.

Hon. Yeya Diallo through her communication to various media houses thanked all categories of people across the World and in particular Senegal for their unwavering support and prayers towards her when she was suffering from COVID-19.

The selfless leader, further thanked the medical team for their tireless efforts in treating her while at the hospital and she said that;

” To the health staff I say thank you, this dedicated and tireless staff at the main Hospital helped me get through this test in peace “.

Hon. Yeya’s Ugandan friend Mr Sewiino Lawrence who is also the National Organising Secretary of Uganda Young Democrats(UYD), told Whisper Eye that Hon. Yeya Diallo communicated to him and promised to resume work of serving humanity and promoting social justice anytime soon and thanked him for his support towards her.

Hon.Yeya Diallois a renown Member of the Senegalese Parliament , she has served diligently her people by fighting for social justice and helping the vulnerable people using national and international platforms.

Senegal has reported 7,882 cases, 5,311 recoveries, among which is Hon Yeya Diallo and 60 deaths, due to COVID-19.
