Afro Beat Music star in East and Central Africa turned in politico Mayanja Joseph popularly known by his stage name Dr Jose Chameleon to pick Expression Of Interest Forms (EOI) from People Power, Our Power Movement headquarters in Kamwokya, Kampala today.

Sources intimated to Dr Jose Chameleon have informed Whisper Eye that singer will be accompanied by Nakawa Mayor Nsubuga Ronnie Balimwezo, Kawempe Mayor Emmanuel Sserunjonji Oweddembe, former Makindye East MP Michael Mabikke, Mr Henry Lubowa among others.

On the delegation is People Power leader Bobi Wine’s elder brother and former MP contestant in Kira municipality singer Eddy Yawe.

Singer Dr Jose Chameleon is expected to pick EOI forms at 12:00PM and everything is set by the People Power Movement Election Management committee at Kamwokya.

Deputy chairperson of the Election Management Committee Mr Samuel Walter Lubega Mukaaku has told Whisper Eye news that all interested Ugandans from all political parties are free to pick forms.

Mr Mayanja joined the Kampala Lord mayoral race, to contest with Lord mayor Ssalongo Erias Lukwago.

Hajji Lukwago has served for two terms as the Lord Mayor and one term as Kampala Central MP.
