MP Nambooze financer , DP kingpin “Ssalongo Muyingo” of Mukono dead

Democratic Party Kingpin Ssalongo Muyingo found dead on Monday . Whisper Eye Reports.

The family confirmed the death of their father Ssalongo Muyingo

Muyingo , 75 was found dead in his bed and appears to have died of high blood pressure . He left behind a wife and a large family.

Initial reports say that the DP Kingpin was found dead in his bed by his wife at his residence in Nabutii village .

Whisper Eye has learnt that the cause of death appears to be a cardiac incident.

He has been a businessman for all his time in Mukono town manufacturing bicycle spare parts and sells bicycles too.

Muyingo was the back bone of DP in Mukono. His office served as the headquarters of the oldest political party.

He has always mobilised resources from fellow businesses of his like and sponsored DP candidates from 1980. one Elder Kaweesa Keefa described him.

Some of the political heads he has sponsored include Pius Kaweere to CA, the late Kanakulya Banga for Mukono LC5 , Nambooze Bakireke for MP.

Muyingo leaves behind a wife Nnalongo, and a quiet big family .

In the last election, he was the chief coordinator of Amama Mbabazi in Mukono.

By press time DP Mukono led by MP Nambooze was yet to issue a statement about his death.

He will be buried on Wednesday in Katoogo , Mukono district. afamily source confirmed to us.
