The MP was arrested at a demolished Kyengeza, Munyonyo market in Makindye Division, Kampala early this morning.
Uganda Police and other security forces attached to National Environmental Managemnet Authority (NEMA) demolished structures in an ongoing eviction of encroaches on Monday morning.
Police has accused the MP Allan Ssewayana of inciting violence. Daily monitor reports.

The demolitions come at a time when Lake Victoria water levels have increased .
