Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) party will hold its first Interim National Delegates Conference (INDC) on 6th August, 2020.

ANT party was started by Gen Gregory Mugisha Muntu after leaving Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) in 2018.

Aspirants are notified to express their interest accordingly by downloading an online form using the link and compete for any post.

According to a press statement issued by party officials, the Party is to go on with political activities despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We are conscious of the challenging time our country and the whole world is facing.
Amidst this challenge of the Corona pandemic life must however go on until by the grace of God a permanent solution is arrived at. Thank you for your resilience and determination, reads the statement.”

The Alliance for National Transformation would like to communicate the following key issues to its supporters, members and the general public both within and outside the country.

‘That whist the Electoral Commission of Uganda has issued its revised road map, we find a number of practical and legal difficulties with it, reads the statement.”

“We have therefore written to the EC to draw their attention to these matters. We hope the EC will find this stakeholder proposals acceptable, the statement reads further.”

The Alliance for National Transformation wishes to reiterate its commitment to participate in the forthcoming general election.

“We invite Party members to actively participate in the process, it states further.”

According to ANT leadership, the party will have candidates at all levels, however after the National Delegates Conference they will have a room to negotiate with other opposition friendly forces.
