DP spokesperson resigns , offer self to work for Bobi Wine. Whisper Eye Reports.

Democratic Party (DP) deputy publicity secretary Waiswa Mufumbiro has resigned to concentrate on Bobi Wine’s campaigns.

Whisper Eye has been reliably informed that Mr Waisswa resigned a couple of days ago, who first wrote a message on his Facebook account, now a formal letter to his bosses.

“To the President General of DP, all supporters and Ugandans, I hereby resign from the office of the Democratic Party Deputy Spokesperson which I have held for the past 5 years effective immediately,’ writers Mr Waiswa.

” I will devote my energies to the generational struggle, he added”.

Mr Waiswa has started mobilising for Kyadondo East MP hon Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine.

Mukono municipality MP Bettey Nambooze Bakireke, also the DP vice president in Buganda region has reacted over Mr Mufumbiro’s resignation.

‘Now that you’re a Musoga and not a Muganda, what accusation will Mao raise against you……?,’ asks MP Nambooze.

” You see him (Mr Mao) and his supporters have one big excuse to answer back any complaint against his leadership…throwing around a tribal card…..I hear, ” You’re fighting me because you Baganda who hate me for my tribe”, she explained. “

Uganda’s oldest political party, DP has faced the challenge of gaps in the National Executive Committee (NEC) some members have died; Secretary general hon Mathias Nsubuga Birekerawo, Deputy Women Leader, Hon Susan Namaganda, National Treasurer hon Issa Kikungwe all died.

National Chairman Muhammad Baswale Kezaala was appointed the Deputy Ambassador of Uganda to India,and now the deputy publicity secretary has resigned.
