Board Chairman of CBS calls for salary structures of workers, after Baliruno’s outcry. Whisper Eye Reports
Board chairman of Central Broadcasting Services Ltd (CBS) Omuk. Mathias Katamba has summoned CBS management to present the salary and wage structures of all workers.
Whisper Eye is informed that Omuk. Katamba who is also the managing director and Chief Executive officer of DFCU Bank Uganda, was surprised by Mr Yusuf Baliruno’s story on Social media.
Omuk. Katamba is a smart and hardworking manager who has been part of the successful story of DFCU bank in Uganda.
A reliable source at Mengo, intimate to Whisper Eye told us that due to the on going battle between Mr Baliruno and CBS management, its alleged that Abbey Mukiibi has called some workers for salary increments as well as signing contracts, in an attempt to make a reasonable accountability.
“Meetings are seating day, and evening at CBS, our bosses are panicking,’ says a CBS news reporter.
” Some report have been given new contracts, and they have increased allowances to some of us, he added.”
Omuk David Balaka is the Vice-Chairman.
Other CBS Board members are; Omuk. John W. Katende, Owek. Eng. Hubert Kibuuka. R, Owek. John Fred Kiyimba, Omuk. Mansoor Bunnya and Omuk. Solome Nasejje Luyombo.

Omuk. Michael Kawooya Mwebe is the CBS Managing Director and was appointed the BoD Secretary.
