Gulu municipality MP Lyanda Komakech on monday handed over the controversial 20M given to MPs to sensitise masses on Covid-19 by Parliament. Whisper Eye has learnt.

After some MPs went to court, which ordered MPs to take the Ugx 20M to thier districts, to the Covid-19 task force.

‘Today I handed over the 20m to Gulu CAO. It will now be spent based on the work plan that I had drawn for the constituency,’ says MP Komakech.

‘I want to appreciate the district task force for the great work done so far. Together we will defeat this virus,’ he stated.

Hon Komakech also supported journalists with reflector jackets and hand protective gloves.
